Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information Golden Thread Connections collects through goldenthreadconnections.com, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. Golden Thread Connections is a DBA of Hospitality Noor LLC, based in California.
What we collect
When you send an enquiry. The contact form asks for your name, email address, phone number, the type and date of your event, an estimated guest count, a budget range, and a description of what you have in mind. You choose what to include.
When you visit the site. We use Google Analytics to understand how people find and use the site: which pages are visited, roughly where visitors are located at city level, what device and browser they use, and which website or search engine referred them. Google Analytics uses cookies to do this. It does not give us your name or contact details, and Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses.
How we use it
Enquiry details are used to reply to you, to prepare a proposal if you ask for one, and to plan and deliver your event if you engage us. Analytics information is used only in aggregate, to improve the website and understand which parts of it are useful.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not use it to show you advertising elsewhere.
Who else handles it
Netlify hosts this website and receives contact form submissions on our behalf. Google provides Google Analytics. Both act as service providers and process information under their own security and privacy terms. If you engage us for an event, we share only what a venue or supplier needs to deliver it, and only with your agreement.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to respond and, if you become a client, for the length of our working relationship and any period required for tax and accounting records. Google Analytics event data is retained for fourteen months and then deleted automatically.
Your choices
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Sending an enquiry is always optional.
Your rights as a California resident
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, you have the right to:
- know what personal information we hold about you and how it is used
- ask us to delete it
- ask us to correct anything inaccurate
- opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, although we do neither
- not be treated differently for exercising any of these rights
To make a request, email us from the address you used to contact us. We will confirm receipt within ten business days and respond within forty-five days. You can name an authorised agent to make a request on your behalf.
Children
This website is not directed at children under sixteen, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new effective date.
